Birth charts & matching
Our browser-based engine uses the sidereal zodiac, Lahiri ayanamsa, whole-sign houses and astronomical approximations. It calculates Lagna, planetary positions, Navamsa and Vimshottari Dasha. Ashtakoota matching compares Moon signs and Nakshatras across eight traditional kootas out of 36.
Birth time, coordinates, historical timezone and calculation conventions matter. Results close to a sign, Pada or house boundary can differ between systems. We do not claim observatory-grade precision or independent certification. For an important comparison, verify the same inputs and settings with a second calculator.
Daily readings & Panchang
Default rashifal text is assembled from calculated transits and fixed interpretation rules. It is general Moon-sign guidance, not an individually reviewed daily prediction. Scores, lucky numbers and colours express traditional associations; they are not measured probabilities. A dated locally authored reading is used only for the current day in that browser.
The homepage Panchang uses the mhah-panchang library and Gwalior coordinates (26.2183° N, 78.1828° E). Sunrise and sunset are displayed in India Standard Time. Tithi and Nakshatra refer to the calculation instant; the strip is not a full calendar of transition times. Confirm a ritual's location and exact timing with the practitioner.
Numerology, Vastu & devotional tools
Numerology uses symbolic number systems. The Vastu planner applies traditional directional themes to your sketch. The Vishnu Sahasranama finder uses a stated Nakshatra and Pada mapping; devotional lineages may use different mappings. These tools do not establish medical, financial or structural effects.

These references describe software and data sources. They do not independently validate astrology's predictive claims.

Educational articles are published by Vedatman Jyotish Kendra. Traditional beliefs should be identified as such.
